PRIME LAMBS
A good show of over 900 prime lambs were forward today with the average up from 5p from the previous week.
Today’s sale averaged £2.75p/kg. The top price of the day was a Texel Lamb sold by M Cook of Hollin Hall, reaching £167.00 (£2.65p/kg), purchased by A T Livestock Ltd.
The top price per kilo was for a Beltex lamb sold by I Wilson of Low Flan Farm, reaching £2.99p/kg (£134.00), purchased by A T Livestock Ltd.
