A good show here with 700 lambs present and 250 ewes forward.

🔥Topping today’s sale was A R Edmondon with a BFL weighing 68kg reaching £216,
next up was J J Procter weighing 65kg reaching £206, close behind was P W & D M Swindlehurst Kendal with a weight of 57kg to £200.
Plenty of lambs around £170/90 with big weights.
🔥Topping PPK was L M Dickinson with 40 kg selling to £160(3.92)(3.90) from the same home; plenty of good lambs around this price.

Store cattle report 22/9/26
Today was an our special autumn show and sale of store cattle ,with 300 forward.
Our judge today was Greg Foster Preston;
Putting champion to Messrs J N & A Woodend of Hyton Farm with a Limousin heilfer that later went under them hammer for £2450.
Reserve champion went to J M Haddow Viver Mill Farm Kendal what sold for £2480. J Hayton & sons sell steers to £2570 and £2500.
Breeding cattle in calf Aberdeen Angus cows to £2200,1950 off J N & G M Hadwin , beef shorthorn cows and calves off D & D Jackson sells and outfit to £1950-£1800.
